Our medical transport serviced can help you attend hospital or clinic appointments in Auckland. You could be entitled to subsidised transport. The driver will pick you up from home, wait up to 4 hours while you attend your appointment and return you home. If your appointment is longer then 4 hours then we can arrange a driver to drop you off and pick you up once discharged.
Mai Lighthouse has approximately 24 Volunteer drivers living within the Franklin area, who utilise their own private vehicles to provide this service for the hapori (community). Please note we need a minimum of 48 hours notice to organise a driver.
