2025 Christmas Smiles Appeal
Help spread Smiles across Franklin and North Waikato this Christmas by giving a little joy to local whānau!
Our annual Christmas Smiles Appeal is now in its 17th year and we’re once again calling out for your generosity and support, so we can fill homes with the true spirit of Kirihimete – warmth, connection and celebration. Recipients of our Smiles Appeal are nominated by our staff to acknowledge and celebrate their hard work in their wellbeing pursuits.
We will be accepting donations from Monday 3rd November until Thursday 18th December 2025. There are several ways to contribute this year:
- Donate non-perishable celebration foods, quality/hardly used or new toys or books, care items including soaps, deodorants and perfumes, gift vouchers
- Make monetary donations or provide sponsorship. With a goal of $5000, Mai Lighthouse will be able to purchase hams, food vouchers and other Christmas items so whānau can share a special meal together.
- Buy a ticket to ‘Decorate for Good’ taking place on Sat 15th November at the Pukekohe Christmas Store.
