I am Mark Waldin and I live in Mauku with my wife Pat. We have two grown sons who live overseas. I am relatively new to the Franklin area but have lived in the greater Auckland area for the last 30 years. We are keen gardeners and I am an avid squash player and member at the Franklin Squash Club.
I have served in the RNZAF/NZDF completing 30 years service in 2006. Up until the beginning of 2023 I owned and managed a nationwide business, from which I have now stepped away from.
I feel that it is important to contribute to as many ways as possible, in the area, in which you live and the FFSS Trust board gives me the opportunity to work with other like minded trustees for the benefit of the whole community.
