Talofa lava, Ni sa Bula, Fakaalofa lahi atu, my name is Chillion (Kil-lee-in) I am the Director for RIVI Consultancy, a self-owned independent consulting business. I am a qualified Youth Development Specialist and Youth Innovation Practitioner and facilitator for social change.
My approach is underpinned by Pacific and Maori indigenous knowledge, and prevention systems, which guides my understanding of wellbeing. This is supported with disciplines such as, Critical Thinking, Systems Thinking and Design Thinking.
Youth Development is a mana-enhancing profession and can be used to strengthen, support, encourage and compliment the different sectoral intersection of Climate Change, Education and Training, Health & Wellbeing, Sports and Recreation, Leadership Development, Civic Engagement and Participation. I’m an accredited Design Thinking facilitator and an Active Citizens (Global) programme facilitator connected to a global network of almost 300,000 members in 77 countries.
I hold a Certificate and Diploma in Christian Ministries, National Diploma in Youth Work, Bachelor of Youth Development and a Postgraduate Certificate in Leading Change for Good. I’m currently completing my Master in Change and Organisational Resilience with academyEX.
I am excited to bring my expertise and knowledge to Mai Lighthouse Services. My family and I have lived in Pukekohe for a little while now and we absolutely love it here. This is a great opportunity to plant our roots deeper by serving on the FFSS board as a trustee and in this great community and region, Franklin.
