Mai Lighthouse is seeking forward thinking leaders to join our Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you’ll work with the Chief Executive and your fellow trustees to shape strategy, ensure effective governance, and drive a future focused vision for holistic community support. This is a volunteer governance role with meaningful regional impact.
What You’ll Bring
• A positive, collaborative, and outcomes driven mindset
• Strong commercial or business acumen
• Understanding of the social services environment and the needs of clients, families, and whānau
• Experience in governance or leadership
• Knowledge and respect for the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Highly Valued Expertise
We’re particularly interested in individuals with background in:
• Property, development, or asset management
• Fundraising, philanthropy, or financial strategy
• Have strong commercial and business acumen.

Time Commitment: 10-11 meetings per year (In-person and online)
Remuneration: Unpaid role
